NMS-I & FCFP-XV was for the first time held in Shanghai during 17-21 October, 2005 to celebrate the centennial anniversary of Fudan University, one of the top university over China. Prof. Zhengzhong Shao and Prof. Yingyan Jiang acted as cochairmen and Prof. Yuping Wu as the general secretary.

NMS-II & FCFP-XVI was held in Lanzhou during 23-26 July, 2006 by Northwest Normal University. Prof. Yunpu Wang, Prof. Yuping Wu and Prof. Yingyan Jiang acted as cochairmen, and Prof. Ziquan Lei and Prof. Rongmin Wang as the general secretary.

NMS-III & FCFP-XVII was held in Shanghai during 17-21 October, 2007 by Fudan University again. Prof. Yingyan Jiang and Prof. Yuping Wu acted as cochairmen, and Prof. Zhaohui Li and Ms Lijun Fu as the general secretary. Prof. J.M. Lehn, Nobel Laureate of Chemistry in 1987, was presented and delivered two lectures: one plenary and one public. Foreign participants were above 200 for the first time.

NMS-IV & FCFP-XVIII was held in Zhenjiang during 15-18 October, 2008 by Jiangsu University. Prof. Yingyan Jiang and Prof. Shouqi Yuan acted as Honorary Chairmen, Prof. Jimin Xie and Prof. Yuping Wu acted as cochairmen, and Prof. Huaming Li as the general secretary.

Prof. Yingyan Jiang acted as Honorary Chairman, Prof. Yuping Wu and Prof. Guxiu Wang (Australian) acted as cochairmen, and Ms Lichun Yang as the general secretary. Prof. Robert Huber, Nobel Laureate of Chemistry in 1988, was presented and delivered two lectures: one plenary and one public. Foreign participants were above 300 for the first time.
